Careers Service Support Unit  (CSSU) 

CSSU is an all age careers information service based in Belfast. Post-primary educational establishments, Careers Teachers, Careers Advisers, Jobcentres, Jobs and Benefits Offices, Careers Offices, Training Organisations, other agencies and the general public use this local careers information.  CSSU also provides and compiles statistical returns.


CSSU produces the following: -

• Information Sheets – cover a range of topics such as ‘How to Choose Your GCSE Options’ and ‘Education for Adults’
   
• Its Your Choice 2006 - a reference tool for year 12 students to help them plan their next steps and organise their term-time activities, updated annually.
   
• A Guide to Options at 16+- outlines the main options available to post 16 students.
   
• The Years Ahead- aimed at years 11 to 14 students to help them plan what to do at different stages of each academic year. The information is available on a poster.  
   
• Events Calendar - a list of forthcoming careers exhibitions and events.
