    Year 10

After Christmas in Year 10, you will start thinking about what subjects you want to do for GCSE.  Don’t worry if you don’t have a clear idea of what you want to do, help is at hand!  Your Careers Teacher at school will give you a lot of help. A Careers Adviser may visit your school, talk to your class about choosing your options for GCSE and provide you with information.

    Year 12

At the beginning of Year 12, your Careers Adviser will speak to your class. You will have the opportunity to fill in a careers questionnaire called “Getting Connected”.  This will start you thinking about careers and help identify where you are with your career choices and help you plan the way ahead. If you have been thinking about various jobs, Getting Connected will assist you further.

After this, you will get an opportunity to have an individual interview with your Careers Adviser who will give you advice and guidance on the following options:-
