I am an honours graduate in Modern History.I have a special interest and knowledge about careers within the newspaper and publishing industry.
I have over 2 years experience as a professionally qualified Careers Adviser within Newry Careers Service. This involves providing careers guidance to pupils in St Paul's High School Bessbrook, Newry high School, St Joseph's High School Newry, and Sacred Heart Grammar School Newry.
Having experience in founding and managing a number of local community regeneration projects means that Newry Careers Office can offer its clients careers counselling that is supported by an indepth knowledge of the local economy.
I feel the knowledge I have gained from my other achievements in life all helps to make me a better Careers Adviser. |
